NRNA New Zealand, in collaboration with NNZWFS, is organising a professional makeup training workshop facilitated by experienced makeup artists from Pooja.

This workshop is ideal for beginners and aspiring makeup artists who want practical skills and guided learning.

Course Breakdown

Day 1: Skin & Base

• Skin prep: cleansing, moisturising, priming

• Choosing the right foundation for long wear

• Concealer placement for brightening and coverage

• Setting the base: matte vs dewy finish

• Brow shaping and filling for definition

Day 2: Sculpt & Glow

• Eyeshadow techniques: neutral base, soft crease, smokey outer corners, inner corner & brow bone highlight

• Contour mapping: cheekbones, jawline, nose

• Highlighting: subtle glow vs bold shine

• Blending for a seamless, natural finish

• Eyeliner: classic thin line, half-wing liner

• Lashes: curling, mascara, optional falsies

• Lip lining for symmetry & choosing correct shades

• Final blending (no harsh lines)

• Makeup setting sprays: matte vs dewy
