Mr. Balaram Khanal has demonstrated significant leadership and dedication through various roles in the Nepalese community in New Zealand . He has been involved in numerous societies, contributing to decision-making and activities, and has played a key role in the development of NRNA, the Nepalese Society, and sports clubs in New Zealand.
He has served as Executive committee member of NRNA NZ, Vice President and executive committee member of the New Zealand Nepal Society.
He is also the founder member of Sahitye Samaj, New Zealand.
Founder member of the Singapore Nepalese Society/NRNA, Served as Chief Auditor Controller in Singapore.
His contributions have been instrumental in strengthening the Nepalese community and fostering cultural and social development in New Zealand and beyond.

Mr. Lal Bahadur KC is the immediate Past President of NRNA New Zealand, having served from 2023 to 2025. He is a well-known and respected figure within the Nepali community in New Zealand and has a long history of serving NRNA NZ in various leadership roles. In addition to his community service, he is also a successful businessman.
Throughout his years of service, Mr. KC has consistently supported the Nepalese community, especially during times of need. His leadership has focused on strengthening the Nepali community in New Zealand, promoting educational and professional initiatives through NRNA, and encouraging unity, collaboration, and community welfare.

Mr. Subodh Dhakal has been actively involved with the Christchurch Nepalese community since 2008, undertaking several leadership roles, including serving as President of the Nepal New Zealand Friendship Society of Canterbury (2020–2022). With nearly a decade of consultancy experience, several years in local and regional government, and his current position in a central government agency, Subodh brings broad and valuable expertise to his various roles.
Outside of work, he and his wife enjoy spending time in nature with their two daughters. His community involvement includes serving as a Board Member of Badminton Canterbury (current), past Secretary of the New Zealand Esri Users Group, and member of the NRNA election committee in 2023 among many others community engagement.”
